Derek is a professional actor with
over 10 years of experience on stage and in front of the camera. The
purpose of this site is to provide information for booking Derek for
television or film assignments. His career as an actor has
taken him around Europe as well as numerous cities within the
UK. Derek is available for auditions and would love to talk
with you about your project.
Aside from acting, Derek enjoys darts, football, pool, snooker,
badminton, fencing, golf, gym, stage combat, sword fighting and
swimming. He has many other skills including: Improvisation,
Narration, Accents and Music ( Bass Guitar and Drums.) Derek's
future plans include travelling and hopefully working in the USA.
Derek studied theatre studies at Strathclyde Univercity (Glasgow)
and has a BA. in acting and performance.
Derek has been a
member of the Strathclyde Theatre group for many years.
